As a UX Master's student at Barcelona Technology School, I've developed Dukly, a concept for an app designed to help users develop positive organizational habits. We identified a key need for solutions that make the process of getting organized more enjoyable and less stressful, especially for early-career and mid-career professionals who often experience negative emotions associated with organization.

Dukly

A playful approach to building positive organizational habits.

Simplifying organization, one step at a time

A playful approach to building positive habits.

Dukly focuses on simplifying the process of building organizational habits through a combination of:

Task breakdown: Breaking down complex tasks into smaller, more manageable steps, reducing anxiety and stress.

Reminder system: Providing timely prompts to keep users on track and mitigate procrastination.

Progress tracking: Visualizing progress and achievements to boost motivation and reduce frustration.

Rewards system: Adding a playful element to habit formation with a gamified rewards system that encourages positive emotions.

Dukly's brand identity is inspired by the familiar and comforting image of a rubber duck. This playful and nostalgic metaphor helps to make the app approachable and engaging, emphasizing the concept of simple routines and building positive habits.

Dukly is currently under development as a project for my Human Factors course at Barcelona Technology School.  It explores the potential for a mobile app that helps individuals develop sustainable organizational skills, leading to improved productivity and a more positive work-life balance.
